UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

You could spend a lifetime touring, exploring and photographing the United States of America. From its sheer size, to varied natural beauty, regional culture, vibrant cities, small towns, rural farmland, and unique history - there is always something more to see and explore. While New York City is my base of operations, I also enjoy capturing the glimpses of Americana in my travels throughout my home country.

In the summer of 2016, I embarked on a road trip, circling the State of New York, from: Binghamton to Geneseo; Niagara Falls to Rochester; Seneca Falls to Syracuse; The Thousand Islands to the Adirondacks; and from Lake George to Howe Caverns. Along the way I took in the rolling hills, farmlands, Main Streets, mountains and waterways, tourist traps and historic museums.

High above the Hudson River, across from the Palisades is the enigmatic Untermyer Gardens - created in 1917 by Samuel Untermyer. The gardens were designed to feature a harmony of aesthetic styles (from Persia, India, Pakistan, Greece & Italy) and spiritual beliefs (Judaism, Christianity & Islam). Today they are a breathtaking stop on any exploration of the Hudson River Valley.

I took a day trip away from NYC to Jim Thorpe (Mauch Chunk), Pennsylvania. The town is a charming and relaxing place to visit. Hopefully I captured some of its essence in these photos.

West Palm Beach, Florida

In July 2024, I spent two weeks in sunny South Florida. The Sunshine State lived up to its name! Though I took photos sparingly, I was able to capture the beaches, nightlife, and scenery of a Floridian summer in West Palm Beach, Jupiter, Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale, Delray Beach, Lake Worth Beach, and Deerfield Beach.

I spent the day of Saturday, November 2, 2024 taking in the sights of Western Central New Jersey. I started in picturesque town of Clinton, with its iconic Red Mill. After touring its streets, I also took in the environs of historic Solitude House and Solitude Lake in High Bridge.

Sleepy Hollow,

New York State

The Legend of the Headless Horseman from Sleepy Hollow, New York, is a timeless, classic American Gothic story. The modern town embrace their part in this tale and turn their cozy, picturesque into a giant celebration of all things Halloween - including an appropriately whimsical and colorful parade. Enjoy a photographic essay of these festivities!

I walked over 480 miles, took over 61,000 photos, and visited 381 neighborhoods.
